Construction of Hoekblok in Groningen is progressing. As the building takes shape, the character of its façade is becoming increasingly visible, with the fresh red brickwork now emerging on site.

Designed by KOSCHUCH Architects in collaboration with NEXT architects, Hoekblok responds to the historic character of Groningen’s city centre through a contemporary interpretation of classical architectural principles. A clear street wall, rhythmic façade and carefully detailed brickwork connect the new building to its urban surroundings.
